Gina Amante is the owner of Wild Empowerment LLC and a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Connecticut. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work and is EMDR trained, utilizing evidence-based approaches to therapy to help clients heal and thrive.

Gina Amante is the owner of Wild Empowerment LLC and a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Connecticut. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work and is EMDR trained, utilizing evidence-based approaches to therapy to help clients heal and thrive.
Gina’s professional journey spans diverse settings, from school-based social work to private practice, and she has also provided supervisory support in therapeutic foster care. With a deep commitment to attachment-based trauma-informed care, Gina has developed a client-centered approach that prioritizes understanding the profound impact of trauma on emotional and psychological well-being.
As a therapist deeply committed to both her own personal and professional growth, Gina believes that the process of healing is ongoing. She continues to engage in her own therapeutic work, which allows her to offer an authentic and empathetic presence as she supports clients through their own healing journeys. Gina understands that growth often requires both deep self-reflection and a safe, supportive relationship, and she brings this awareness into her work with clients.
Gina earned her MSW from Edinboro University, where she began her career working with youth in foster care. This role provided valuable experience in crisis management, navigating the social service system, and engaging both clients and families in meaningful ways.
